Jamming...

I'm jamming! It's the last week in November / the first week in December and I am only now able to reassemble Black Widow 2. Too much work and too little time but it has to be done. I cancelled all my customers and dedicated my focus on this project. I have to get it together and in for upholstery or the project is doomed.

The good news has to be the flexibility of Herb Martinez, pin stripping, and Armand Annereau Jr., upholstery. I took the seat and doors to Armand so he and Ken could get something done. During this time, Herb came over and laid some lines on what I had thus far.

And then there's the windshield. Good friends of mine are artists, specializing in sand-etching. I commissioned Robert Lee / Susan Fair Studio (925) 335-2679 to so something special. Here are some photos of what he did and things to come for the Black Widow 2 project. Robert and Susan specailze in custom etching & personalizing.

As the rain came down, I worked on Black Widow 2 to get it ready for Armand. And in this doing I created an air cleaner that makes it look like I am running three twos. There's more on this little feature in the works. Stay tuned.
